Oh my god I just realized something. Kekera not actually having Keiwa's interests in mind was telegraphed from the start just by animal themes: all the other supporters matched their chosen Rider's animal theme, fox for fox, bull to bull, cat to... well, winged lion but close enough. But Kekera is a frog to Keiwa's tanuki, they were a mismatch from the start!
